What groups were suing the owners of Generative-AI tech (ChatGPT, Claude, etc) and why?

What happened (or is currently happening) with each case? 🔍

Each inquiry led me to have 20+ more questions to answer.

I’ve been reading for 3-4 hours each day, hitting the library, hitting the bookstore, and picking up books from every possible angle. 📚

I have a serious thought piece brewing, but I’ll say this...

Most people are having surface-level conversations regarding gen-AI, and those who stop to ask further questions, openly, are being quickly and publicly dismissed. 👂🏽

The more I dig, the more these dismissals remind me of the clever-but-obvious slogans used against those who didn’t just wanna fold for the govt in ‘20.

I’m looking forward to being able to articulate my full take on podcasts, on YT, in conversations, and also being able to offer my clients (and other writers/creatives) a clear pathway to protect their work and distinguish themselves in a gen-AI-saturated space.
