You’ve realized the profound effect that your emotional vibe has on your life. You’ve learned that like attracts like and that you can shape your reality. You’ve heard about the law of attraction and the power of manifesting but what does it all really mean?
You want to taste the life you envision for yourself. You want to be heard by God, the Universe, the Cosmos. Maybe you want to travel the world. Maybe you crave a heart-centered career that feels deeply fulfilling. Maybe you just want some miso.
It’s true. You can have what you want. Your dreams and desires are within reach. You have the personal power to co-create. Here’s the catch: you have to want it all the right way.
I’m calling you out on your creative process. I want you to refine it and take it up a notch.
Here are six common mistakes you don’t realize you’re making when going for your dreams:
1. You’re not letting go of the how.
Declare what you want and then let go of the outcome. The fastest way to drain your creative energy is to get stuck on the how. There are 1,001 + ways your desire can manifest and if you’re focused on the details you’ll miss the mark.
2. You’re using the full moon to set your intentions.
The full moon offers a powerful opportunity to send your vibes out but it’s more effective to use the new moon to set intentions, start new projects, and declare what you want. The full moon is a time of celebration, completion, and fullness. The new moon is the time to plant seeds of intention.
3. You can’t get out of your head.
It’s not enough to think about what you want. It’s not enough to visualize what you want. You really have to feel it. Decide how you’ll feel when you get what you want. Get your body involved. Do anything to start feeling the way you want to feel right now.
4. You’re thinking about you.
Okay, I know I said you can have what you want but the fastest way to your dreams is to focus on what you can give. You are really valuable to the world. What are your gifts and talents? How can you share them with others?
5. You’re not making enough space.
If you want to feel positive change in your life there’s got to be room for it. Making space can be scary. Example: you want a spiritually fulfilling relationship but you’re not willing to cut it off with the current guy. You can settle or you can move forward to create the space for what you really want.
6. You’re not taking action.
It’s called co-creation for a reason. You + Universal Forces =Team Unstoppable. Truth: It’s not just going to happen without you kicking it into high gear too. Maybe you want to take your health to the next level. If so, you can build momentum by taking action. Start to build satisfying and nourishing habits into your day.
